AFA Foundation:

We are long term and proud supporters of our Industry's chosen Foundation, which supports a number of Charities in the community, the AFA Foundation has raised nearly $500,000 in supporting a number of worthwhile Charities

Cancer Council:

Knight Management have been long term supporters of this charity and Stephen Knight was instrumental in the WA support base of the OZtrek 2000 event as it went around Australia.

Medecins Sans Frontieres Doctors Without Borders:

Has been a long term charity supported by Knight Management, it provides medical funds and organised medical teams in strife or torn countries.

Royal Flying Doctor Service:

Another long term charity supported by Knight Management Services, since 1984 when principal, Stephen Knight was transported by RFDS plane, Merredin to Perth.

Tour de Cure:

A supported Charity, following a request from one of one clients a number of years ago, who rides in the event.

Volunteer Sea Rescue, Fremantle:

As members and supports of this organisation, today the Fremantle Rescue Service rescues and deals with more traffic monitoring than continental Europe and provides a much needed volunteer service to the Western Australian boating public.

Knight Management were sponsors of a Community based small film production which highlighted the abuse of prescription drugs in the community – "Janes Torment" the film went on to win global awards and recognition, Stephen is seen here with the producer and main film cast, at its debut in Fremantle, Western Australia

Stephen is the immediate past State Director of the AFA, the largest and preferred national association for Financial Advisers, he served on the national board for a two year term, He is speaking here at the National Roadshow in Burswood Convention Centre, in Perth.

In 2011, Stephen received a National Recognition Award for services to the Financial Services industry throughout Australia, these services in the main were for his standing as a state director and continued to support the Industry and the policy work on the AFA’s National Government Policy Advice committee.

During his long time as President of the Melville Cockburn Chamber of Commerce, (MCCC) Stephen made sure the Chamber pushed above its weight, He managed to secure offices for the chamber, here at the opening ceremony, and recognised by Hon Simon O’Brien MLC and Trevor Sprigg, MLA Murdoch.

Stephen was a vocal advocate for the WA Stadium location and supporter the South of the River proposal location of Cockburn as the preferred venue, that being the lowest cost, more superior stadium with higher seating capacity and park and ride facilities with train and public transport and parking areas all superior to other bids, He is here with Cockburn Mayor, Stephen Lee.

CoSBA is the peak body for Small Business IN Western Australia, Stephen is with his fellow directors in meeting the Small Business Minister, in Hon Simon O’Brien.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sir Bob Geldof, during one of his earlier visits to Perth, I regard Bob as most probably the greatest of all in the world for his raising the profile of Humanitarian aid to third world countries BandAid and LiveAid raised over $50 million, changing the world in that space.

Lee Kernaghan, as Australian of the Year, shares a common interest in highlighting the plight of drought and farming issues for Australian farmers, In 2008, I has the pleasure of meeting Lee in Darwin and chatted to him briefly and congratulated him on Australian of the Year.

Jessica Watson, Young Australian of the Year, for her epic world adventure and world record of sailing solo round the world, I indeed enjoyed my moment of expressing my appreciation to Jessica before she entered stage right for a Macquarie Life function event in Perth.
